- At Tech OVN, our main focus is Smart Meters however, we are now tapping into the big market of Sub-meters in India. We will be entering the Indian market with Single Phase & Three Phase Meters. These kWh meters are mainly used by tenants. Single Phase meters are used by residents for small electric loads while three phase meters are used for larger loads of Industries.
- Most of the Sub-meter manufacturers are from unorganized and unregulated sector. Majority of these Sub Meters are of sub-standard quality. Only a few companies are seriously focusing on this segment and selling good quality products in India, which is why Tech OVN has decided to enter the Indian market with these products.
- There are two kinds of meters sold in the Indian Market. One is Stepper Motor Counter Type (SMC Type) and another is LCD Display Type. Both have their own benefits.
- LCD Display type meters look good but display of meters is seen only when Electricity is available but SMC meters are liked by customers because reading the display is possible even when Electricity is not available.
